An avid traveller, Sandra comes from a photographic and horticultural background. Drawing on her extensive travels within Australia and the Himalayas, she incorporates her love of imagery into her printmaking practice using screen print, relief print, etching, monotype, collagraph and digital print for her installations and wall pieces.
Sandra has worked in the arts sector since the 1980s at Australian Craftworks, Sydney, the Flying Pig, Berry and more recently at Sturt Craft Centre, Mittagong. She enrolled in the University of Tasmania, where she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1998 majoring in photography and printmaking.
